About This Place

Whether you're craving classic Irish fare or looking to enjoy a lively night out with friends, O'Neill's delivers an experience that's both heartwarming and memorable.

The atmosphere at O'Neill's is unmistakably genuine. Step inside and you're greeted by a warm, bustling space filled with laughter and the buzz of good company. The pub features cozy private booths, each equipped with its own TV—ideal for catching your favorite sports games while savoring a meal or a drink. The friendly staff, as many patrons note, enhances the experience with attentive, welcoming service that makes you feel right at home.

The menu is a celebration of Irish culinary traditions alongside American classics, offering something that tantalizes every palate. Popular starters like the Black & Tan Beer Battered Onion Rings, served with a tangy thousand-island and horseradish dipping sauce, or the creamy, comforting Baked Macaroni & Cheese with its crispy breadcrumb topping, set the tone for a satisfying meal. For those craving fresh and light bites, the Vegetable Spring Rolls with sweet chili lime sauce offer an invigorating crunch and zest.

Main courses here showcase the rich, hearty flavors that patrons rave about. The Crispy Guinness Fish & Chips is a standout: cod filets dipped in a signature Guinness beer batter, perfectly golden and flaky, paired with classic tartar sauce, malt vinegar, and crisp fries. The tender Baby Back Ribs boast fall-off-the-bone meat glazed with expertly balanced sauce — a dish that has left many customers, like Doc, absolutely thrilled. Equally enticing is the Shepherd’s Pie and Guinness Beef Stew, each brimming with slow-cooked, soulful goodness that delivers on deep, comforting Irish flavors.

For burger lovers, the Guinness Burger and the inventive Mac & Cheese Burger bring indulgent eats with irresistible taste and texture. Sandwich options such as the Roast Beef Club or the Maryland Crab Cake on a brioche roll bring a satisfying blend of fresh ingredients and bold flavors. And if you seek to accompany your meal with signature drinks, O’Neill’s Irish Coffee, Guinness on tap, Bloody Marys, or classic cocktails like the Manhattan and Stella Artois offer the perfect complement.

Customers have consistently praised the authentic vibe and welcoming hospitality. Rafael Montanez, who grew up around Irish taverns, declares that O’Neill’s corned beef ranks among the best he’s tasted. Omar Aviles highlights the outstanding service provided by the attentive staff and appreciates the ample space and multiple TV screens for watching games. Samuel Daetwyler enjoyed the inviting bar section with its cozy booths and friendly service, making it the perfect spot to savor a delicious burger. Meanwhile, Ricardo A. calls out the original, charming bar counter and convenient parking, promising a return visit whenever he’s nearby.

Whether you’re seeking a hearty Irish meal, a cold pint while watching sports, or a lively spot to gather with friends, O'Neill's stands out as a beloved Staten Island treasure. Authentic Irish Pub. With the private booths. Dad had the Corned beef and cabbage. He approved. I had the Baby Back Ribs. I moved the food around on my plate and the meat fell off the bone. Amazing. Sauce was perfect. Excellent. Fries were on point. Local patron atmosphere. Loud, happy, lots of laughter. Loved it.
